Personal opinion- solo training is the best. Because you don't try to show off, you don't risk harming yourself by trying to match up to others, and you're alot more conscous of your body and movements. You don't want to bail, so you're careful and think about all different parts of your body when you're moving. Things always seem more animalistic and fluid when I train alone, I become more in touch with my surroundings. I feel slightly eccentric anyway, but for some reason my style becoms more... instinctive, and definatly like an animal. Also you don't just do things for the camera or anything. All the things you do, you do them for yourself. Nobody is watching so your training is pure, not corrupt by temptations such as "owning" or "keeping up" or just plain showing off. You become more "one" with nature when your alone. Everybody should try it really.

Something about gaybar fighting on youtube? yeh when you have company you can have a laugh too, plus other people might spot things you wouldnt have seen yourself.

Training alone is great... Its the best way for me to progress atm, cause its the only time i dont try to "show off". But yeh, theres no point me going through all the good points of solo parkour, since Lukes already covered most of them I think its a good way of training, but thats my opinion, everyones different, and i know some people who only like to train with others...

You do different things when you're on your own. You do alot more precisions and footwork, and weird angles, instinct actions, little runs. You don't waste time trying a "big kong from 3 slabs away" or anything silly. You get down to it, and do what you gotta do.

Training alone is personally better for me as you have to concour your fear and your not just wanting to show off to other people. But jams are alot better for learning and more fun. Whitey
